Access Data

When our internet pages are called up, Linde India receives access data that is stored for protective purposes and aids in identification. This data is analysed primarily by Linde India so that we can familiarise ourselves with and evaluate user behaviour. We do not make use of personal data in the process.

Personal Data

The only time we save personal data in addition to your access data is if you give us this information voluntarily, e.g. as part of a registration, a survey, a prize competition, a contact inquiry, registration for a newsletter or to process an online order.

Moreover, personal data is used only to the extent necessary and only for the legally permissible purpose for which you gave your consent, such data is supplied by you completely voluntarily and is used solely for the purpose of complying with your request for information and the same shall not be retained longer than is required for the purpose for which the information is used or is required under any other law. The Linde Group, of which Linde India is a part, employs encryption procedures in secure areas to ensure that communication between your browser and Linde’s order system, for example, cannot be read by others on the internet.

All data is stored exclusively on servers of Linde AG in Germany, and such data is accorded a level of protection that is adequate and at least equivalent to that under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules there under of India. By using our order system, you consent to the storage and use of your data by Linde India and other affiliated companies.

Sensitive Personal Data

It is unlikely that Linde India will collect any sensitive personal data about an individual. If, however, any sensitive personal data is required, Linde India will collect and use this in accordance with the applicable data protection law in compliance with the Reasonable Security Practice and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Date or Information Rules 2011.

Passing on Personal Data to Third Parties

Linde India renders some of its services together with select partners. These partners are subject to the same strict statutory provisions for data protection as Linde India and are integrated into its data protection concept.

Personal data is only passed on:

when processing order-related data, such as for online orders; and
in individual cases, provided you have given your prior consent.

Additional information – such as voluntary statements about your primary areas of interest – is not passed on to third parties by Linde India.

If you request in writing that Linde India or the representative responsible for you amend, cease from using or delete your personal data, we shall do so immediately.<
